A California-based artist and woodworker, their practice explores the space between functional design and sculpture. Drawing inspiration from Japanese minimalism, Nordic folklore, and the natural world, they create hand-carved wooden objects defined by organic form, subtle asymmetry, and the inherent character of the material. Rather than using a lathe, each piece is shaped individually with hand and power tools, allowing the wood to guide an intuitive process and ensuring no two works are alike.

After studying Fine Art Photography at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena and working for many years in digital photo retouching, they turned toward woodworking as a more tactile and material-driven practice. What began as an exploration in 2013 has since developed into a dedicated studio practice based in La Cañada Flintridge, California.
