"Memory Piece #1" explores how memory is forged from both objective truth and the fabrications of the unreliable narrator-whether self-created, inherited from others, or altered by time. The fragile, porous nature of memory holds deep contradictions that touch on something deeply human, and questions how comfortably we live with the frayed edges, overlaps, and inaccuracies that form our stories.
 
Jennelle Fong is a photographer whose work indulges in the exploration of intimacy, space, and feeling. She champions the quiet moments, and the unexpected detail is her dearest collaborator.
